Ada M. Ahsan Fatihah Murad (yang biasa dipanggil mas Fathan) dan M. Alfan Nasirin (mas Alfan) yang telah menempuh rihlah dan ujian terbuka dimana sebelumnya mereka mempersiapkan penguasaan materi seperti Asmaul Husna, hafalan Qur’an, do’a harian, dan sebagainya.
Tujuan rihlah ini agar santri mendapatkan pengasahan kemampuan, pengalaman, pengetahuan yang lebih baik dan lebih mencintai Al-Qur’an melalui rangkaian interaksi dengan sesama santri, pengasuh pondok, kyai/ustadz, pengurus masjid, dll.
Alhamdulillah mereka telah merasakan belajar langsung dengan mengunjungi tempat-tempat seperti Masjid Gedhe Kauman Yogyakarta, Real Masjid, belajar langsung dari Ustadz H. Muhammad Jazir (Ketua Dewan Syuro Takmir) di Masjid Jogokariyan, Pondok Pesantren Al-Atsar, dan sebagainya.
